Mudsock Knights Football Program Overview 2025 - 2026

Winning Tradition:
The Knights have been in existence since 1999 and is considered the gold standard of travel programs with teams playing in multiple title games and capturing 6 championships.

Community
The Knights invite all participants of the Mudsock Youth Football Program (current 4th & 5th grade) to participate in tryouts for the 2025 Knights Team. We are designed for those athletes and parents who want to participate as a community-based program, representing our Fishers community.

Academic Achievement
The Knights program emphasizes the importance of academic achievement and classroom leadership and rewards our athletes for scholastics success.

Philanthropy
Knights are encouraged to participate in volunteer activities over the holiday season, as a way to be involved in a community outreach opportunity and “give back” to our local community. In addition, knights participate in an opportunity to help support local teams.

Time commitment
Although knights’ tryouts are in the fall, our official season does not begin until July. During the offseason, we have voluntary Sunday workouts and will have 2-3 player meetings during the off-season. A player’s in-season sport is the priority for our athletes between tryouts and July of 2025.

Games
In a typical season, we have 7 “A” games plus the end of season tournament (1 to 3 games) and 7 “B” games. for 2024, we will have 8 “A” games + end of season tournament and 8 ”B” games. We believe it is critical to create opportunities for our athletes to experience live competition.

Eligibility
Our league allows athletes from 4th-6th grade to participate. We encourage all 5th-6th grade athletes (current 4th- 5th grade athletes) to attend tryouts and compete for an opportunity to represent the knights!

Cost
There will be a $250 non-refundable fee for players to accept their roster position in October 2024. An additional Knights fee will of $400 will be collected in 2025.

Fishers HSE Knights Tradition

Tradition

Knights Football is a program rich in tradition and built on the highest standards for building football character. The program was formed in 1999 by West Point graduate Rob Duffy on the foundations of discipline, character, and respect.

Those standards are the fabric of Knights football; with tradition comes responsibility as former coach Luke Dunnuck will tell you,

"Knights Football is a symbol of what our league stands for and has represented our league and community for over a decade."

"I am honored and excited to lead the Knights program as Head Coach and I look forward to continuing the rich tradition of Knights Football. Attitude, effort, and a commitment to excellence are characteristics needed to earn the right to be a Knight. We will embrace the life lessons of preparation, discipline, perseverance, and integrity, that this great game gives us. We will emphasize the importance of Character and what it means to be a great Teammate; working together, to achieve the ultimate goal of winning a State Championship."
